Newark ~ Jackie Edgar Hudgins, 56, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Kaufman.

Funeral is 4 PM Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Family will receive friends 2-4 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

Jackie was born on July 8, 1965 to Coy and Julia (Traylor) Belt in Bitburg, Germany. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Suzanne; and his nephew, Johnathan.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are 2 sons Brendon Hudgins of Keller and Gavin Von Huevel of Alabama; 3 daughters, Staci Bearden and husband Justin of Kemp, Erica Hudgins of Fort Worth, and Gabbie Von Huevel and husband Andrew of Vernon; 12 grandchildren; his parents, Coy and Julia Belt of Newark; his sister, Julie Carvish and husband Jim of Sunset; 2 brothers, Jamie Hudgins and Jeani of Keller, and Jodi Hudgins of Newark; numerous nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Sheryle Marshall of Newark; other relatives and a host of friends.
