Jack Kenyon Sutton

Decatur ~ Jack Kenyon Sutton, 74, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, August 12, 2020.

Jack was born April 18, 1946 to Harland and Katherine (Thornburg) Sutton in Chappel, Nebraska. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Northern Colorado where he graduated in 1964, with a Bachelor’s Degree, he also played college football. Jack was united in marriage in 1964 to Brenda Hopper in Denver, Colorado. He owned and operated Sutton Trucking Company, and Sutton Equipment, both in Gilette, Wyoming.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harland and Katherine Sutton.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Brenda Sutton of Decatur; his sons, Jack Blaine Sutton of Decatur, and Justin Presley of Odessa; his daughter, Courtney Ludwig and husband Lonnie of Denver, Colorado; 6 grandchildren; his brother, Jerry Sutton of Nebraska; lifelong friends, Trigg Marquiss and Dora Exley Samuels, both of Gilette, Wyoming; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
