Originating in Cottondale and landing in Perrin, Jack “Cadillac Jack” D. Richardson, 83, departed this earth to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Mineral Wells, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family members will receive his beloved friends for viewing and visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Jack was born on April 8, 1943, to L.D. and Renez (Rena Inez) Richardson in Cottondale, Texas. He was united in marriage to Carolyn “Susie” Susan Cash on November 12, 2010, in Paradise, Texas. Jack was a dedicated entrepreneur who put forth immeasurable effort and took great pride in his work. He was not only a trusted and dependable business owner but also a larger-than-life figure who proudly served our country in the United States Navy. His commitment to our nation and its values, along with the love he had for the Lord, truly reflected the spirit of resilience and pride that defined him. Jack was known for his great sense of humor and captivating storytelling. He could light up a room with his laughter and had a unique ability to share tales that entertained and brought joy to everyone around him. He loved singing and creating memorable moments filled with harmony and joy. His vibrant spirit and love for life touched everyone he met. Jack was a devoted Christian who deeply believed in God's promises. He held firmly to the hope of eternal life through Christ, which guided him throughout his life's journey. His faith not only directed his actions but also inspired those around him to seek a deeper relationship with God. His unwavering trust in the Lord brought him comfort and strength, reflecting a life lived with purpose, conviction, and grace. Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Raymond Richardson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn “Susie” Susan Richardson; his son, Jack “Little Jack” Richardson and wife, Teri Richardson; his daughter, Amanda Frissell, and husband, Bill Frissell; his granddaughter, Natasha Frissell; his siblings, Joe Richardson, Sue Laurent, and Jan Stanfield; and countless other family members and friends. Though he has departed this earthly life, the traditions, stories, laughter, and love he shared will continue through those who knew him, ensuring that his legacy lives on for generations to come.
