OKLAHOMA CITY - Jack Mathis, 87, a retired rancher died December 31, 2007 in Oklahoma City.
Graveside Service: 11:00 AM Monday, January 7, 2008 at Sycamore Cemetery in Decatur, Texas with Rev. Ken May to officiate. There will be no set family visitation.
Mr. Mathis was born September 15, 1920 to William Ramon and Maggie Eason Mathis in James, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelors degree.
Left behind to cherish his memory are 3 sons, Michael, David, and Glenn Mathis all of Guthrie, Oklahoma; 2 daughters, Marta Koehne of Santa Rosa, California, and Sarah Mastranunzio of Lancaster, South Carolina; 7 grandchildren; 4 sisters, Wave Belknap, Allie Belle Florida, Vonceal Wallace, and Auga Lee East; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
