Jack William Madden

Jack William Madden, 92, went to be with his Lord August 3, 2026 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Jack was born July 31, 1934, to Paris William Madden and Mary Eloise (Walker) Madden in Altus, Oklahoma. He graduated from Altus High Scholl in Altus, Oklahoma in 1952.

He served as Personnel Specialist in the US Army 1954-1955. He graduated with a BS General Business & Accounting degree from Southwestern State, Oklahoma in 1959. He retired after 30 years as an Accounting Manager with Texaco, Inc. in 1990.

He married Reta Von Madden on September 8, 1956, in Altus, Oklahoma. They were together 58 years before her passing on January 10, 2015, in Decatur, Texas.

Left behind to cherish his memory is daughter Belinda Madden Talley and husband Ron of Burleson, son Jay William Madden and wife Hope of Paradise; 3 grandchildren, Nathan Talley, Payton Madden and wife Jadyn, Caitlin Madden Thomas and husband Kaelib; 2 great grandchildren, Brooks and Cole Madden, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents and sister Janie Madden Hall.

There will be a private family Graveside.
