BRIDGEPORT -- Ira Ogle Pleasant, 94, a retired 26-year gas plant operator for Conoco, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in Decatur.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Chapel. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Mr, Pleasant was an Amateur Radio Operator for 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Selma (Vivian) Pleasant; his brother, H.A. Pleasant; and his three sisters, Inez Stack, Wilda Thorne, and Bennie watson.
Survivors: Daughter, Wanda Stone and husband, Wayne of Decatur; grandsons, Curtis Stone and wife of Decatur, Regina, Landon Stone and wife, Melissa of Keller; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Alissa, Jacie, and Julie, due in March.
