Illona Joyce (Wiley) Sigsbee

Chico ~ Illona Joyce Sigsbee, 74, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Wichita Falls.

Funeral is 11:00am Monday, March 4, 2019 at Crafton Baptist Church in Chico with burial in New Port Cemetery in Bowie. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Tom Merritt will Officiate.

Illona was born August 7, 1944, to Jay N. and Alta (Hodge) Wiley in Decatur. She was united in marriage to Jim Sigsbee on April 24, 1973 in Waurika, Oklahoma. Illona was a member of the Crafton Baptist Church, she had a long career with Wise County Electrical Coop. She was a beloved mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Bobbie Wiley; her son-in-law, James Messick.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Neil Sigsbee and wife Mary of Denton; her daughter, Melissa Bell of Bowie; her grandchildren, Robert Nert, James Nert, Candice Arita, Dustin Bell and Wesley Sigsbee; her great-grandchildren, Josiah, Ema, Alexander, Nevaeh, and Kingston; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
