Alvord: Hilde Ross, 80, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Friday, September 11, 2009 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gerre Joiner officiating. Interment will follow the service at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Hilde was born in Germany on May 14, 1929. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Warren Ross.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her two sons, Allen Ross of Fort Worth, Donald Ross of Alvord; two brothers, Sigfred and Gunther Himelstoss of Munich, Germany and five grandchildren.
