Helen (Early) Huddleston

Boyd ~ Helen Huddleston, 77, a loving mother and grandmother, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Weatherford.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church #2 in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Dale Noska will officiate. Pallbearers include Johnny Sanders, Johnny Luster, Patrick Newberry, Richard Newberry, Steve Ellis and Keith Hulsey.
Helen was born on January 5, 1938 to Johnnie and Flora Nell (Arrington) Early in Boyd, Texas. She was united in marriage to Floyd Huddleston February 5, 1959. Helen was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church #2 and the Eastern Star. She worked over the years as a sales clerk at several businesses in Boyd.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd Huddleston; her sister, Roberta Newton; and her brother, Johnnie “Richard” Early.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Bill Huddleston and wife Pam of Decatur; her grandchildren, Chad Huddleston and wife Kristen of Decatur and Kimberly Herrera and husband Jafid of Krum; her great grandchildren, Layton, Addyson and Brynlee; her sister, Evelyn Newberry and husband Charles of Decatur; other family members and a host of friends.
