Celina ~ Helen Jean Gage, 83, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 25, 2015 in Celina.
Service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Private burial at Oaklawn cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rev. Kevin Caffey will officiate. Pallbearers include Randy Sherman, Bill Merritt, Danny Whitaker, Craig Talley, Brett Shannon, Claude Porter Elsom III, and Lynn Hachtel.
Helen was born on September 16, 1931 to Urban and Mina (Cox) Sewell in Elk City, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Billie Glenn Gage on April 9, 1949 in Decatur. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Billie Gage.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, David Gage and wife Mary of Gunter, Brian Gage and wife Laine of Decatur, and Brett Gage and wife Clydett of Decatur; 7 grandchildren, Keelie, John, Andrew, Zachry, Eric, Delaine, and Addison; 6 great grandchildren.
