BOYD -- Hazel Coe, 92 a homemaker went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in Kerrville. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Rev. Robert Worley will officiate. Pallbearers: Bob Suson, Bruce Brown, Kenneth Ray Gregg, Coy Cleveland, Phillip Coe, and Richard Sheller, Jr.
Hazel was born on May 20, 1916 in Athens, Lousiana, the daughter of John A. and Iva(Myers) Brown. She was a homemaker. She married Floyd Ray Coe on April 17, 1935 in Petrolia. Hazel was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd and her son, Kenneth D. Coe.
Left behind to cherish her memory is: her daughter, Barbara Boyd and husband Larry of Junction; grandchildren, Richard Sheller, Jr. and wife Tracie of Petal, Mississippi, Stephen Sheller and wife Mary of San Luis Obispo, California; 6 great grandchildren; Stephen, Jr., Lauren, Madeline, Richard III, Olivia, and Ruby.
