Hannah Lynn Abernathy

Hannah Lynn Abernathy, 20, of Chico passed from this earth Friday, June 26th, 2026.

Hannah’s Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, July 7th from 6:00-10:00 p.m., at The Big White Barn in Decatur. Butterfly release will be at 8:30 p.m.

Hannah was born on October 8th, 2005, to David Edward and Jessica Lynn (Randalls) Abernathy in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Hannah was a spiritual person that cared deeply about all living creatures. She was in her third semester at Weatherford College, on her journey to becoming a clinical psychologist.

Hannah was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and friend to everyone. She will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, DeLaura Marie Abernathy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Dave and Jesi Abernathy; her sisters, Hailey Hancock and her husband Max of Spanish Fork, Utah; Hope & Harleigh Abernathy of Chico; her brothers, Hudson & Hayden Abernathy of Chico; her fiancé, Zaine Mansell of Poolville; her great grandmother, Katherine Mauk of Azle, grandparents, Bruce Abernathy of Decatur, David and Vickie Randalls of Chico; and a multitude of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
