Gwendolyn Faye Lisby Combs

Decatur ~ Gwendolyn Faye Lisby Combs, 83, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 26, 2018, in Decatur.

Graveside service is 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Jerry Lindsey will officiate.

Gwendolyn was born on March 26, 1935, to Otho and Thelma (McDaniel) Lisby in Decatur, Texas. She retired as a caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bobby Lisby; her sister, Joan Jackson, Rumell Pitts.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nan Stanford and husband Steve of Saginaw; her sons, Van Estel and wife Vicki of Boyd, Dan Estel and wife Susan of Boyd; her daughter, Jan Winters and husband James of Wiggins, Colorado; her son, Zan Combs of Alvord; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her sisters, Martha Choate of San Angelo, Beverly Lindsey and husband Jerry of Weatherford, Venita Egler of Weatherford, Sue Dodgen and husband Don of Colorado; her brothers, Ben Lisby and wife Scharee of Graford, Gerry Lisby of Springtown, Jerry Lisby of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
