Decatur ~ Gurtha Louise (Craft) Wilson, 87, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Decatur, Texas.
Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Gurtha Louise was born November 8, 1926 to Charles Bert and Ora Lee (Jackson) Craft in Copeville, Texas.
Louise lived her life as a loving caregiver. After raising her family in Fort Worth, she worked at many nursing homes, children’s homes and private care before retiring in Decatur, in 2004 to be near family.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters, Melinda Feeler and husband Leman of Fort Worth, and Karen Currin and husband Sid of Decatur; son, Alan Wilson and wife Linda of Burnet, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Walker Hale, Joseph Hale, Emery Currin, Erica Currin, Ciara Currin, and Ethan Currin; 3 great grandchildren, Everett Cisco, Jasmine Hale, and Jadie Hale; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, and 4 brothers.
