Belleville, Illinois ~ Gregory Jon Peden, 69, went to be with our Lord Friday, June 19, 2020 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Graveside service is 2:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Gregory was born March 20, 1951 to Charles Oel and Hope Peden in Washington, DC. He was a retired medical technologist with civil service at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. Greg participated in adaptive sports, including basketball, cycling, and marathons. He was a private pilot and loved his three support dogs who were his companions through the years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Hope Peden; and his niece, Kate Fostel.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sister, Cheryl Fostel of Decatur; his nephews, Chris Fostel and wife Gabby of Odessa, and Josh Fostel and wife Katey of Baird; his great nephew, Wyatt Kieser; 5 great nieces, Eden Kieser, Karli, Laney, Layla and Jordyn Fostel.
