BOYD -- Gregory Darnell Ivy Jr., 23, died Friday, July 14, 2006, in Wise County. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Boyd. Burial: Boyd Cemetery.
Greg was a Boyd High School Graduate. He was a welder for Crist Industries in Bridgeport and a member of the First Baptist Church in Boyd.
Survivors: Parents, Gregory Darnell Sr. and Sherry Ivy; sister, Samantha Ivy; grandparents, Judy Rogivue, Pat Oldham and Jim Oldham; great-grandparents, Louise Oldham, D.L. Ivy and W.B. Tallant.
Pallbearers will be: Dustin Mayhue, Russell Peebles, Clay Lisby, Wayne Murphy, Ray Cantu, and James Cornstubble. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mason Green and Cody Boyd.
