Gracia Mae “Barnes” Seay, 83, of Alvord went to be with her Lord & Savior Saturday, July 4th, 2026 in Bridgeport, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11th at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Thomas DeAndrea will officiate. Pallbearers include Delmas Looney, Jeremy Looney, Dustin Pinkerton, Matt Tracey, Michael Aymond, and Colby Aymond.

Gracia was born February 17th, 1943 to Charles William and Cleta May (Ray) Barnes, Sr. in Bridgeport, Texas. She was united in marriage December 5th, 1973 to Joseph Don Seay in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Gracia was a retired Seamstress, also a private nurse. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cleta Barnes, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jerry Pierce and wife Lisa of Ft. Worth, and Bo Sons and wife Delayne of Oak Island, North Carolina; her daughters, Panda Moss of Perryville Arkansas, Brenda McDonough and husband Todd of Ft. Worth, Christi Looney and husband Jimmy of Alvord, and Michelle Sons of Weatherford, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; extended family and a host of friends.
