Gordon Bailey, 86, of Yucca Valley, California passed away Friday, May 14, 2010, in Decatur, Texas. Private service will be held at a later date in Whittier, California.
Gordon was born July 6, 1923 in Toronto, Canada to William John and Eleanor Shone Bailey. He was an avid horse race enthusiast and was very proud to become a United States Citizen on June 18, 2009.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters, Barbara Ann Keller and husband Thomas of Decatur, Peggy Coutu and partner Roger of Walnut, California; two grandchildren, John Turner and Charlene Clemmons; 3 great-grandchildren, Nathan, Taylur, and James; 1 sister, Margaret Langley of Hemet, California; 2 nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
