Gloria Sue Kime

Gloria Sue Kime, 87, of Boyd, went to be with our Lord September 1, 2024.

Funeral is 11:00 AM, Thursday September 5, 2024 at the Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial at Cumby Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.

Officiant is Joe Ben Whatley. Pallbearers are Steven Stands, Junior Whatley, Chance Stands, Tim Fleming, Dylan Contur and Jeremiah Smith.

Gloria was born August 21, 1937 to Emory Cecil Ivy and Gladys (Mullins) Ivy in Wynnewood Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, J.C. Kime June 13, 1960 in Gainesville, Texas. They were married 55 years before his passing in 2015.

Gloria retired from being self - employed in the restaurant business for many years.  She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Kime; her parents, Emory Cecil and Gladys Ivy and her step son Bruce Kime.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Jayci Begley and husband Ben of Boyd, Jayme DeClark of New York; grandchildren Katelyn Stands and husband Steven, Kaylea Attebery and husband Michael, Mariah Begley and Tiffany Laster; 5 great grandchildren, Jaidan, Chance, Kaiyah, Ema and Pennie. Her caregiver Letty Contreras and In Loves Fred and Judy Begley many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
