Gerald Milford Price

Paradise ~ Gerald Milford Price, 79, of Paradise went to be with his Lord Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

Family will receive friends 1 - 3 p.m. Monday, January 13 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Gerald was born on the very patriotic day of November 11, 1945 in Weatherford, Texas to Ernest and Ruby (Bailey) Price.  Upon graduating he spent some time in the United States Navy.  Gerald married Diane Mann on April 26, 1968 whom he now joins again with his Lord.  He worked for a transport company as a Truck Driver and retired years later, also worked and retired from the Cottondale Dump at age 75. Gerald had two daughters, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren to keep life interesting.  He was a beloved husband, father, grand-father and friend to many who will miss him dearly.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruby Price; and his wife, Diane Price.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Holly Hendrix and husband Jimmy of Paradise and Lori Rodgers; three grandchildren, Amber Boucher, Caitlin Mario, and Ashlynn Rodgers; two great-grandchildren, Brentley Williams and Cooper Walker; his siblings, twin brother James, and sisters, Tamar Trumbo, Marylou Mabry and Theresa; extended family and a host of friends.
