Garnett was born on December 23, 1937 to Aldie and Ruby (Hansford) Price in Liberty, Kentucky. He was united in marriage to Eileen Egbert on February 4, 1970 in Osgood, Ripley, Indiana. Garnett retired from a long distance truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Eileen Price of Rhome; his son, Dean Christopher Price of Rhome; his niece, Jennifer Schrank and husband Matt and son Noah of Indiana; his brother –in-laws, Ronnie Egbert, Ralph Egbert of Ohio, Gary Egbert of Oklahoma; his sister-in-law Marion Button of Ohio; and a host of friends.
