PARADISE -- Frona Genevra "Gee" Barnett, 93, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010 in Bridgeport.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church Of Christ in Paradise. Bro. Sam Starr will officiate.
"Gee" was born on October 27, 1916, the daughter of Duncan Buford and Frona Genevra (Profitt) Howeth, in Paris, Texas.
She married George Henry Barnett on July 11, 1948 in Paris. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1997. She was also preceded by her parents; her son, Thomas Barnett; 2 brothers, Johnny Driver and D.B. Howeth; 2 sisters, Zona Stephenson and Elizabeth Towers.
Those left behind to cherish her memory: sons, James Barnett of Paradise, Gary Barnett and wife, Dona of Paradise; 9 grandchildren: Mandy, Paul, Tommy, Jimmy H., Mary, Erin, Heather, Jimmy B., and Johanna; 7 great grandchildren; sisters: Denola Towers, Lois Nicholson, Milie Nicholson, and Mildred Gardner.
