Freddy Thompkins

Ft. Worth ~ Freddy Thompkins, 79, formerly of Bridgeport, a retired project manager and a veteran, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 31st, 2019 in Bowie.

Memorial is 1 0:30 a .m. Saturday, January 18th, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Freddy was born on July 2nd, 1940 to Albert and Nanette (Boaz) Thompkins in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was a veteran and proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Freddy worked for General Dynamics for several years and retired as a project manager.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nanette Thompkins.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jamey Thompkins of Haslet; his granddaughter, Faith Elizabeth Thompkins of Townsend, Tennessee; his sister, Pamney Shumake and husband Larry of Tulsa, Oklahoma; numerous cousins and extended family and a host of friends.
