Freddie (Crawford) Aucoin

Alvord ~ Freddie Crawford Aucoin, 90, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, August 4, 2018 in Decatur.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel Decatur with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rev. Bill Cleveland will officiate. Pallbearers include Mark Holder, Tony Caruthers, Hank Belknap, Damon Ledet Tyler Caster, and Emile Ledet.

Freddie was born on March 6, 1928 to Ben and Golda (Barfoot) Crawford in Carthage, Mississippi. She was united in marriage to Jasper Aucoin in Thibodeaux, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Martin Holder; her husband, Jasper Aucoin; her grandson, Bryan Ledet; 12 brothers and sisters.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda Belknap and husband Henry of Alvord; her son, Mark Holder of Many, Louisiana;her grandchildren, Kirstie Caruthers, and husband Tony, Niki Belknap, Shawn Belknap and Ashley Belknap; her great grandchildren, Joey, Damon, and Macee; 2 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
