Fraser Cameron Parker

Fraser Cameron Parker, 69, of Boyd passed away Wednesday, July 31st, 2024.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 9th, 2024 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Fred Raney will officiate. Pallbearers include Lance Williams, Darin Glisson, Tim Haydin, Ian Parker, Jude Parker, and Dan Haydin.

Fraser was born October 2nd, 1954 to Fraser and Eliza (Rafuse) Parker, Jr. in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He was united in marriage April 27th, 2003 to Mary Jo Haydin in Mansfield, Texas. Fraser was a retired Machinist and Plumber after many years in the industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fraser and Eliza Parker, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Mary Jo “Dee Dee” Parker of Boyd; his sons, Ian Parker and wife Jennifer of Garland, and Robert Parker of Dallas; step-daughters, Abby Williams and husband Lance of Decatur, and Traci Glisson and husband Darin of Decatur; grandchildren, Eily, Emeri, Quade, Quincy, Jude, Ava, Ivy, and Sunny; his sister, Gail Parker; brother, Peter Parker; extended family and a host of friends.
