BOYD -- Flossie Fowler, 97, a homemaker, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at her home in Boyd.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Flossie was born on September 5, 1909 in Montague County. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Fowler; her parents, James Madison and Nancy Elizabeth (Gibbons) Underwood; her two sons: Billy and James Fowler; her grandson; Mike Fowler; and 15 brothers and sisters.
Survivors: daughter: Mildred Louise Smith of Haltom City; son: Bobby Don Fowler and wife Thelma of Boyd; grandchildren: Jerry Wilson, James Fowler, Elizabeth Jennings, and Cindy Tackett; 12 great grandchildren; 8 great -great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
