Florence R. Greenfield

Florence Greenfield, 82, of Boyd, breathed her last breath on earth Sunday, April 7, 2024 at her home.

Graveside Service will be 11:00AM Wednesday April 10, 2024 at the Boyd Cemetery. Florence (Baby Sis) was born June 8, 1941 to Ardyce and Virginia (Phillips) Zorns in Wheeler, Texas. She was very small and born into a family with two older sisters who loved and cared for her and bossed her around all of her life. The family moved to Boyd when she was 3 and continued to reside there most of her life, with a few short years in college to earn a teaching certificate and to teach throughout the Dallas and West Texas districts. She taught first grade and loved every minute of it, they were small like her. Florence had a liking for anything with flowers. She was a devoted daughter, and aunt and will be missed deeply.

Those who preceded her in death are her parents Ardyce and Virginia Zorns and nephew Brent Barber.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Elizabeth Milner of Bedford and Virginia Arrington of Boyd; niece, Annie Allsbrooks; nephews, Bert Milner and Brad Barber; and a host of family and friends.
