Eva Lou Newhouse

Eva Lou Newhouse, 94, of Rhome went to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 29th, 2026 in Decatur, Texas.

Eva was born August 22nd, 1932 to Alfred James and Audie Fay (Vaughn) Anderson in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage in 1973 to Alfred Newhouse in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Eva graduated High School in Enid, Oklahoma and retired from Southwestern Bell after many years as a telephone equipment clerk. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Audie Anderson; and her beloved husband Alfred Newhouse.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Terri Klaus and husband Barry; her granddaughter, Paige Smith; extended family and a host of friends.
