Decatur ~ Eva Aliene Knight Elmore, 93, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Sunday, May 17, 2015 in Decatur.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Flower Mound Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Jerry Miller will officiate. Pallbearers include Mikel Wyatt, John Andrews, Dustin Wyatt, Paden Tsakonas, Dakota Cox, and Danny Radabaugh.
Eva was born on July 12, 1921 to Thomas and Mrytle (Connely) Knight in Flower Mound. She was united in marriage to Rodney Elmore on February 14, 1970 in Grapevine. Eva was lifetime elder at Flower Mound Presbyterian Church. She retired from Vought Corporation.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; sister, Tommie Pemberton; 2 great grandsons, Joshua and Jonathan Dykes.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 45 years, Rodney Elmore of Decatur; her son, Fred Andrews of Granbury; her daughter, Beverly Kitchen of Lewisville; 4 grandsons, Mikel Wyatt of York, South Carolina, Greg Andrews of Greenberg, Pennsylvania, James Dykes of Bedford, and John Andrews of Denton; 1 granddaughter, Lea Radabaugh of Lewisville; 8 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
