PARADISE -- Eula Mae Norris, 77, a retired fabric production supervisor went to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 1, 2009 in Paradise.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Paradise. Burial: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Matt Edwards will officiate. Pallbearers: Hershel Stinnett, Brian Donath, David Cobb, Chad Coates, David Coates, and Rob Mabra.
Eula was born on June 6, 1931, the daughter of Kelly Marvin and Velma Pearl (Kelso) McKinney, in Kensing, Texas. She married Manuel Wayne Norris on May 16, 1949 in Fort Worth. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2002. She was also preceded by her parents; a son, Curtis Wayne Norris; an infant son; and a sister, Cleo Barber King. Eula was a member of the First Baptist church in Paradise.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her daughters, Connie Turner and husband Mark of Euless, Patricia Coates and husband Donald of Fort Worth; son, Jimmy Norris and wife Valerie of Aurora; 8 grandchildren: Dodie, Chad, David, John, Markus, Brian, Corey, and Amber; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
