Bridgeport ~ Eugene “Geno” Leonard Silletti, 49, an industrial painter, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Mexican Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Rev. Tim Jenkins and Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers include Dean Bible Jr., Sam Moreau Jr., Trinity Gunter, Dustyn Bible, Tim Butler, Daniel Gonzales, John DeHoyas, Emilio DeHoyas, and John Coleman.
Geno was born on September 30, 1965 to Leonard and Connie (Martinez) Silletti in Bridgeport. He graduated from Bridgeport High School. Geno proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Paratrooper of the 82 nd Airborne Ranger. He made 88 jumps during his military service.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Leonard Eugene Silletti; his sister, Debra LeAnn Silletti; and his nephew, Marcus Anthony Silletti.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Tina Bible and husband Dean Jr. of Runaway Bay, Juanita Silletti and fiancé Sam Lee Moreau Jr. of Midland, Ashley Silletti and fiancé Trinity Gunter of Weatherford; his grandchildren, Madison, Ashlyn and Kalin; his mother, Connie Martinez Silletti of Bridgeport; his sister, Diana Lynn Taylor and husband Tommy of Bridgeport; his brothers, Richard Lee Silletti and wife Wendy of Fort Worth, Anthony Leonard Silletti and fiancée Kellie Buckaloo of Alvord; his sister, Tammie Louise Bible and husband Dustyn of Decatur; other family members and a host of friends.
