BRIDGEPORT -- Erma Jane Hanlin, 73, a health care giver, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, in Bridgeport.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel.
Erma was born on April 4, 1936, the daughter of Lawrence Arthur and Elsie Hannah (Hartfield) Overstreet, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She married Emmett Leslie Hanlin, Jr. on January 13, 1967 in Nowata, Oklahoma.
Erma was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Michael Lee, and brothers, Marvin and Billy Overstreet.
Left behind to cherish her memory are: sons, Robert Hanlin of Houston, Tony Lane of Runaway Bay, Eugene L. Clay of Bridgeport, and James Hanlin of Derby, New York; daughter, Lizetta Byrum of Purvis, Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Vivian Jordan of Wichita Falls, Sybil Mann of Wichita Falls; numerous nieces and nephews.
