Bridgeport ~ Ella Mae Wilkerson, 94, business owner, accountant, and artist, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 22, 2015 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service.

Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.

Ella Mae was born on May 9, 1920 to Lonzo and Emma (Hill) Prock in Idabel,Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Rovis Leon Wilkerson on February 10, 1951 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Ella Mae was owner-operator of P&W Center from 1962-1981. She was also an accountant, homemaker, and beloved mother. Ella Mae loved to travel and was a talented artist.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lonzo and Emma Prock; her husband, Leon Wilkerson; her brother, Lawrence Prock; her sister-in-law, Edna Prock; and her half sister, Edna Rainwater.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Leon Wilkerson and wife Brenda of Bridgeport; her granddaughter Marissa Hughes of  Fort Worth; her extended family, Dusty Womack, Melinda Barefoot, Alexis Womack all of Bridgeport; her niece, Jan Hill of Tulsa; her nephews, Carl Prock of Tulsa,Oklahoma, Jim Prock and wife Pat of Balsora; her great niece, Christina Dillon of Tulsa; her great nephews, Josh Prock and wife Leanne of Bridgeport, Jim Prock of Decatur; her great-great niece, Kayleigh Prock of Bridgeport; her great-great nephew, J.J. Prock of Decatur; and a host of friends.
