Bridgeport ~ Eldon Lee Bryant, 91, a Veteran of the Korean War, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 3, 2018 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Pallbearers include Troy Bradley, Greg Bradley, David Carrell, Paul Carrell, Kevin Jones and Jeff Jones.
Eldon was born on January 15, 1927 to James Thomas and Hessie (Wigington) Bryant in Portales, New Mexico. He proudly served his county in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Twin Oaks Assembly of God Church in Bridgeport.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Raymond Bryant, Dawson Bryant, and Joe Bryant; his sisters Ella Bryant and Zula Carrell.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his siblings, James William Bryant and wife Muriel of Chino Hills, California, Ruth Bradley of Bridgeport, Franklin Bedford Bryant and wife Mary Sue of Bedford and Betty Jones and husband Kenneth of Cleburne; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.
