Edwin Joseph Hansen

Edwin Joseph Hansen, 66, went to be with our Lord on Thursday January 2, 2025 in Azle.

Edwin was born August 5, 1958 to Gerald and Lorraine (Plauche) Hansen in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from Keller High School and worked in construction. He was married to Kaye McBee until her passing in 2019. Edwin was a loving husband, step father, brother and uncle and will be deeply missed. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Lorraine Hansen; and daughter Leigha Vanover. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Lorrie Butts and husband David of Grapevine, Elizabeth Zimmerer and husband Tim of Roanoke; a brother Brian Hansen and wife Kris of San Antonio; Step grandchildren, Justin Inglet, Taylor Inglet, Colten Inglet, Carissa Bailey, Shane Bailey and Dakota Bailey, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
