Decatur ~ Edward E. Norton, 79, a retired FAA Engineer went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 19, 2017 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Everett Chambers will officiate.
Edward was born on November 2, 1938 to Loyd and Maymie (Hollingsworth) Norton in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Judy Waymoleane Day on April 7, 1961 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Edward retired from Federal Aviation Administration where he worked as an engineer over 30years. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter, Angela Dawn Norton; his great grand daughter, Koti Jo Redder.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Teresa Gaskie and husband Greg of Saginaw, Michelle Gonzales and husband Sam of Decatur, Tina Redder and husband Ancel of Decatur; his grandchildren, Hannah and Noah Gaskie, Steven Gonzales, T.C., A.J. Tyler and Samantha Redder; his great grandchild, Ella May Redder; his brother, Riley Norton of Shawnee, Oklahoma; his sister, Lisa Lynn Easley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
