Edgar Eugene Hale

Jacksboro ~ Edgar Eugene "Gene" Hale, 76, a retired painting supervisor for Lockheed, went to be with our Lord Saturday, December 20, 2014 at his home in Jacksboro.
Funeral service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Hopewell Cemetery. Family will recieve friends 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Gene was born June 3, 1938 to Nolan Silas and Pearlie Mae (Grundy) Hale in Slaton, Texas. He married Anita Hodges November 4, 1961 in Decatur, Texas. Gene served his country in the United States Navy for 11 years.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 53 years, Anita Hale of Jacksboro; 3 sons, Jackie Hale and wife Paula of Jacksboro, Robert Hale of Weatherford, and Curtis Hale and wife Kayce of Weatherford; 6 grandchildren, Andrea Inman, Laresa Hale, Dustin Hale, Myler Hale, Zachary Hale, and Carter Hale; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Randy Hale; his brother, Carroll Hale; and his sister, Ramona Crabtree.
