Saginaw ~ Eddie Scott Turner, 63, formerly of Boyd, a city maintenance worker went to be with our Lord Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Fort Worth.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. David Wilson will officiate. Pallbearers include Ricky Turner, Sammy Turner, Tommy Peterka, Jeff Meaders, Charles Knight, Gary Mosley, Billy Jennings, and John Bowen.
Eddie Scott was born on December 9, 1951 to Bill and Billie (Burchfield) Turner in Decatur, Texas. He was a city maintenance worker for the city of Fort Worth.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother, Kevin Turner and wife Faith of Morgan, Utah; his nieces, Jessica Turner of Cedar City, Utah, and Kristen Austin and husband Shaun of Lake Wood, California; his aunt, Sharon Taylor and husband Willie of Fort Worth; numerous extended family members, and a host of friends.
