Eddie Leon Thompson

Boyd ~ Eddie Leon Thompson, 49, went to be with our Lord Monday, January 18, 2021 in Ft.Worth.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Johnson/Thompson Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Eddie was born September 25, 1971 to Marvin and Mary Harris (Villanueva) Thompson in Decatur, Texas. He graduated Decatur High School and was a Field Technician for Northwest High School. Eddie was united in marriage May 15, 2005 to Ashley Johnson in Boyd, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Thompson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Ashley Thompson of Boyd; his children, Leddie, Linda Shay, Leggin, and Lacie Thompson of Boyd and Lindsey Thompson of Springtown, Blake Thompson and fiancée Kaitie Miller of Pilot Point, and Bailey Thompson Smith and husband Caleb of Bridgeport; his grandchildren, Bryton and Cyrus; his brother, Terry Wages and wife Lisa of Bridgeport; his mother, Mary Harris and husband Charles of Decatur; cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and a host of friends.
