Eddie Lee Badger

Decatur ~ Eddie Lee Badger, 90, went to be with our Lord Friday, December 3, 2021.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 6, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Black Creek Farms in Decatur.

Dustin DoByns will officiate. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Shandon Fullingim, Dustin Dobyns, Wesley Badger, Curtis, Badger, Matthew Badger, and Kris Handlon.

Eddie was born May 10, 1931 to Marvin W. and Ethel (Bradford) Badger in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage November 14, 1952 to Bobbie Niblett in Weatherford, Texas. Eddie was a retired project planner for Lockheed-Martin. Eddie proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather “Papa”, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ethel Badger; his sisters, Alvarita Duncan, and Anita Badger; his brother, Marvin Badger, Jr. and son-in-law, Robby Handlon.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 69 years, Bobbie Badger; his son, Kyle Badger and wife Dede; his daughters, Gayle Hubbard and husband John, and Leigh Ann Handlon; his grandchildren, Shandon Fullingim and wife Diane, Dustin DoByns and wife Stacy, Taylor Hale and husband Casey, Curren Wicker and husband Brandt, Wesley Badger, Curtis Badger, Matthew Badger and wife Kelly, Kris Handlon and wife Tiffany, and Allie Henderson and husband Colter; his great-grandchildren, Vista and Mahala Fullingim, Kylie and Kellan Hale, Cami, Carson and Caylen Wicker, Blakely, Jaxson, Kreese and Mattie Badger, Brooks and Bodie Handlon, and Creely Henderson; his brother, Jamie Badger; his sister, Linda Miller; extended family members, and a host of friends.
