Rhome – Doug Bryan, 77, passed away in Decatur surrounded by friends and family, Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Born July 13, 1941 to Charles Wayne and Theo (Tipps) Bryan in Rhome.
Doug lived his life full of love for friends and family. He was an entrepreneur, taking on multiple endeavors throughout his life. Some of his greatest joy came in supporting others in their own life path. He valued knowledge and ingenuity. He lived his life seeking and sharing information to improve quality of life for all around him.
Survivors - his wife of 21 years, Lee Coffman Bryan, married September 13, 1997 in Rhome. Children -Charles Bryan and wife Lisa, Karen Jones, David Bryan, Mark Bryan and wife Sherri. Grandchildren - Chuck Bryan, Derrick Bryan and wife Camille, Thomas Bryan, Courteny McCollum, Meagan Fuller, Colten Bryan, Casey Worlow, Marissa Bryan, Christopher Bryan, Summer McCullough and husband Chad, Mark Bryan and wife Jessica. Great grandchildren – Canyon, Cavern, Parker, Kyle, Baylee, Cole, Bryson, Luke, Zane, Dakota, Hunter, Duke, Kadee and Kaylee.
Siblings – Sue Fennell, Webb Bryan, Faye Shelley and Kenny Bryan.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bob Bryan and Bud Bryan.
His life will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at The Big White Barn, 933 CR 4010, Decatur, from 4 – 8 pm. All are invited to come reminisce over a cup of coffee.
