Dorothy Elaine Lasiter- Dobyns

Chico~ Dorothy Elaine Lasiter DoByns, 89, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, August 30, 2020 in Chico.
Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born on May 26, 1931 to William “Hardy Bill” and Bennie Alzina (Pleasant) Watson in Bowie, Texas. She was a retired bank teller. Dorothy will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Lasiter; her son, Lanny Lasiter, and her second husband, Cecil DoByns.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Nathaniel Lasiter of Chico and Carlie Lasiter of Lewisburg, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law, Billie Lasiter of Chico; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Iris; her twin sister, Doris Barnard and husband John of Decatur; her daughter, Carol Pittman and husband Keith of Decatur; two grandchildren, Crystal McCasland and Bryan Mann; four great-grandchildren, Hayden, Seth, Shyla and Alice, numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
