Rhome: Dorothy Lucille Idell, 86, an accountant, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, January 5, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 1 p.m. Friday, January 7th in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born May 7, 1924 in Cove, Arkansas to C. J and Blanche (Saunders) Bell. She married George Alfred Idell in 1946 in Kennedy, Texas. Dorothy retired from Bell Helicopter as an accountant after 21 years of service. She was a member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, George Idell of Rhome; daughter, Linda McGee of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas; sister, Vivian Sharp of Joshua, Texas; two brothers Charley Bell of Keene, Texas and J.C. Bell of Joshua, Texas; three grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Myrtle Martin and Flora Cavin, brothers, Arthur, Dick and Raymond Bell; and one great grandchild.
