Dorothy Mae (Green) Deaton

Aurora ~ Dorothy Mae Deaton, 94, a medical assistant, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 7, 2018 in Decatur.

Memorial graveside is 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 1, 2018 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Oklahoma.

Rev. Ed Rutherford will officiate.

Dorothy was born on February 5, 1924 to Dillard Greene and Grace Dickey in Okemah, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Johnny Robert Deaton on July 18, 1944 in Yountville, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Ron Deaton and wife Melissa of Aurora, Don Deaton and wife Earlene of Savannah, Missouri; her sister, Pat Sharp of Wagoner, Oklahoma; 7 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren;  and a host of friends.
