Dorothy June (Hunter) Arrington

Boyd ~ Dorothy June Arrington, 74, a retired electronics inspector went to be with our Lord Monday, December 8, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Hilltop Assembly of God in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Bill Fitch and Chaplain Phillip Weitner will officiate. Pallbearers include Jimmy E. Arrington, Rodney Taylor, John Taylor, Chuck Berg, Billy Baker and Wayne Parker.
Dorothy was born on March 15, 1940 to Earl and Willie (Allcorn) Hunter in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to James D. Arrington on November 2, 1957 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Dorothy was a member of the Hilltop Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Juanita Keener and Rose Crow; and her brother, Bobby Hunter.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Rev. James Arrington of Boyd; her son, Jimmy Earl Arrington and wife Dawn of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Charles, Tara and Travis of Highland, Illinois; 3 great grandchildren; her sister, Carla Winnett and husband Wilburn of Sulphur Springs; other family members and a host of friends.
