Decatur ~ Doris Lucille Hoyl, 90, a retired bookkeeper, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 27, 2015 in Decatur.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rev. Phillip Weitner will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are Wise County Veterans Group.
Doris was born on August 3, 1925 to Charles and Goldie (Wharf) Jones in Punta Gorda, Florida. She was united in marriage to Cecil Hoyl Jr. on January 27, 1945 in Tampa, Florida. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 70 years, C.B. Hoyl Jr. of Decatur; her sons, Bryan Hoyl and wife Jane of Sunset, and Randall Hoyl and wife Darlena of Decatur; her granddaughter, Leslie Ann Hoyl of Decatur; and a host of friends.
