Alvord ~ Donald L. “Corky” Wright, 91, went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 28, 2020 in Alvord, Texas.
Graveside is 12:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Pastor Michael Jones is officiating.
Donald was born on November 3, 1928 to Clarence Harold “Punch” and Mary Rebecca (Thomas) Wright in Arlington, Texas. He was a retired engineer for General Motors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Elizabeth Rogers and Husband Brit of Hurst, and Tracy Knight of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 5 grandchildren, Wesley, Grant, Megan, Cullen, and Hayden; and 2 great-grandchildren, Collin and Lily; extended family and a host of friends.
