Donald Ray Osborn

Donald Ray Osborn, 80, went peacefully to be with our Lord, in his home with family at his side Friday, January 25, 2019, in Newark.

Donald was born on January 5, 1939, to Gordon and Mildred (Bigbey) Osborn in Drumright, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Georgiana Oliver on July 1, 1961, in Abilene, Texas. Donald was a retired Heat Treater for Menasco Manufacturing. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Mildred; his granddaughters, Michelle and Dominique.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Georgiana Osborn of Newark; his sons, Michael Osborn and wife Lore of Bedford, Stephen Osborn and wife Shelly of Decatur; his grandchildren, Colton, Kayla, and Jordan; his great grandchildren, Bentley and Tessa; his brother, Ray Osborn and wife Patti of Levelland; his uncles, Thomas Bigbey and wife Beverly, and Harold Bigbey of Covington, Oklahoma; extended family Stan, Fran, Rob and Pam Britton of Newark, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of coworkers and friends.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
