Donald North

Decatur ~ Donald North, 81, went to be with our Lord Friday, February 9, 2018 in Decatur.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Richard Gillespie will officiate. Pallbearers include Michael White, Paul Perkins, Steven White, Brent Wilson, Kevin Darrah, Jackie Don Miller, Tony Meador, Jeff Meador and Cliff Greer.

Donald was born on August 15, 1936 to Cliff and Ara (Spears) North in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage to Patty Dillon on June 18, 1962 in Pearisburg, Virginia. Donald retired as an electrician from Peterbilt and Farley Electric. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pat; his daughters, Lois North, and Tammi Bradish; his granddaughter, Pam Bradish.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Donna Miller of Decatur; his sons, Clifton North and wife Summer of Decatur, Kent North of Decatur; his grandchildren, Sandy, Michael, Misty, Tiffany, Summer, Greyson, Chris, Stetson, Spencer, Chance, Austin, and Collin; 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
