Keller ~ Donald Alford Lee, 81, went to be with his Lord Friday, November 25, 2011 at home.

Funeral is 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery #3 in Chico. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Donald Alford Lee was born in Albany, Kentucky to Walter and Fannie (Meek) Lee. He joined the Air Force in 1946 at the age of 16 after getting his sister to alter his birth date in the family Bible, thus serving 8 years and gaining the rank of 2nd lieutenant. He married Sylvia (Brownie) Lumsden on September 1, 1951 in Decatur. He worked in the printing industry for 60 years and was known to all as "The Old Man". Donald's hobbies were meeting and talking to people, telling jokes and stories on his back porch, hunting, fishing, and Texas Rangers baseball.

He was preceded by his parents and a brother, Kenneth Lee.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 60 years, Sylvia; his sons, Stephen Lee and wife Jeannine and Nick Lee; his daughters Megan Lee and Sheri Tull and husband Donny; his sisters, Oleen Evans and Inez Poore; his grandchildren, Donny Tull III and wife Michelle, Stefanie Spivey and husband Kevin, Hollie Barris, Amie Forehand and husband Scott, Christie Aubel and husband Jason, and Joshua Tull; his great grandchildren, Danny Tull IV, Alaina Spivey, and Ashley and Darren Tull; his dog, Sassye; and a host of friends.
